Wedge windows can deflect the incident beam to a specified direction at a certain deflection angle. When used in pairs, the outgoing beam can be located in any direction in a pyramid which take the incident beam as the axis through the relative rotation of the two wedges. High precision wedge windows can avoid Etalon Effects caused by reflection of high-parallelism windows. Wedge windows can also prevent instability of laser output or mode hopping which caused by optical reflections. YZSY Optics offer uncoated or AR Coated wedged windows for your application.
