High Performance Hot Mirror

Different from absorptive heat-resistant glass filter, there is little absorption of heat energy with dielectric hot mirrors. Hot mirrors can therefore be applied to various high power illumination applications as the VIS wavelengths will pass and the NIR which may affect application of the system will be blocked or reflected. Hot mirrors can also be used as infrared cut-off filters due to the coating design. Hot mirrors can be suited to various applications of spectral detection, including blocking the interference of NIR light to CCD, silicon detector etc.
