Er:YAG is an excellent 2.94 μm laser crystal widely used in laser medical systems and other fields. The Er:YAG crystal is the most important active medium for 3 μm lasers, and has the characteristics of high slope efficiency, ability to operate at room temperature, and a laser wavelength within the eye-safe range.
